Having grown up in Kenya I started photographing wildlife whenever we would go on safari as a child. After moving to the Netherlands in my teenage years, I expanded my portfolio from elephants and giraffes, to dinners, events and weddings. Learning more about capturing humans at the right moment in time and space.
My passion lies in capturing the essence of being human, the real smiles, the effort we take to decorate ourselves but also the things that make us different. Photography enables the sharing of smiles and stories throughout the world and makes people curious. Photography opens doors and creates pathways for people to care for each other and the world around them.
For me photography is a way of connecting to the world around you, of seeing the world from someone else’s perspective, if only just for a little while.
